My New Husband has three children. One has Bipolar Disorder and is having alot of problems with her mother, so her mother called us and wants her to spend the summer with us, which we agreed to, with the condition that she pay for the Day Camp Program that she will be attending, considering that my husband will be paying child support for her while she is with us.

My question is:

Is there anything aside from medical records, etc that we need to get from her when she brings the child to us in June. If this become permanant what will we need to do. I don't want her mom to all of a sudden say we took her or anything like that. I just want to cover myself. I have two children of my own at home to worry about and don't want to have any legal problems to boot.

Any help is appreciated.
