HOW HARD IS IT TO ADOPT?
Okay, now go back to the Adoption section on the forum. Go through the other posts on the exact same subject, to give you an idea. Once you have read through them, then ask a BETTER legal question. How "hard" something is, is a subjective question.

What county are you in?

Adoption is NOT a do it yourself process. You have to know all the rules and laws to follow, including notification of the biological parent (by all means possible), notification by court to the welfare dept. for the home study... etc....

You should start getting consultations with attorneys in your area and basically price shop. Also make sure that they seem confident and know what they are doing because this is somethign that everything needs to be followed correctly to do in order to prevent any sort of reversal at a later date.
