my husband is adopting my son. my husband has been raising my son since my son was 3. His biological dad has not wanted to see or pay child support for the past 9 years. My husband is the only father my son knows. The noncustodial parent signed the consent but now is saying if I don't cancel the child support he will tell the judge that he does not want to consent. I told him I would stop it after everything went through.
