British Columbia, Canada. If you are in the middle of bankruptcy, and you are granted the option to buy stocks and have the opportunity to make some money, i understand that any capital gain you earn must be declared, but will the trustee take the entire amount because you were granted an option to buy at a lesser than market price, therefore considered a gift maybe?
