My name is on multiple stocks along with the names of my mother and sister. My mother is on Medicare and has recently taken ill. My greedy sister insists the stocks have to be turned over to Medcaid for mom to get help since she has used up all the Medicare funds available. My question is, do I have to turn over stocks with my name on it. I know for a fact my sister is just trying to get her hands on everything and I need something to stop her. The stocks are not in trust. All three names are listed as joint owners.
Your help is extremely appreciated before my greedy, over-bearing sister steals everything.
I live in Miami Florida and so does my mother although currently she is in a hospital in the state of Delaware were my sister resides.
