She died 2yrs ago.
You really should add replies to your original thread.

I believe my brother stole my mother's life insurance and filed a claim. I don't know the name of the policy. Someone accused him of this and he did not deny this has happen. What should I do about this?
If he was not the named beneficiary, the insurance company would not have paid.

Agree, a life ins. co. would pay policy proceeds to the bene(s) named in the policy.
