Stolen Checkbook at Lake

Fred and Wilma went to the lake, Fred left his old check book in the car.. He noticed it was gone about 5 days later. During this time 2000.00 in checks where wrote on a closed account, one of the checks was 500.00. Now this is on their credit report as bad checks. How do they get this fixed? It has runined their credit. Should they go to the bank and get copies of the checks and varify the signature card at the bank against these checks ? They did not write these checks it was a closed account.

Damn, I had promised to keep that a secret. Yes, Barney 'knew' Wilma before she was introduced to Fred. And yes, Betty knew about their 'affair' and often wondered about Pebbles. Seems that after the two kids grew up, Pebbles always seemed to have a littl Bam-Bam in her.... but that is another story for another time.
