I live in massachusetts and my son lives in florida. the divorce and support orders are from massachusetts. he graduated from high school and is 18 years old. he is going to wait a year before he goes to college. am i still obligated to pay child support? i am going to pay his college tuition when he goes.

Maybe.. MA has a strange statutes (Ch. 208) in that there is a provision to continue to pay CS if the child is domiciled in the home of a parent and principally dependent upon said parent for support. How this is effected by the child being in FL and if the child is working, I do not know.

My advice would be to petition the courts anyway and see what happens..
