have a co-worker that rented an indoor storage unit to store her furniture and goods. Pipes broke in this storage unit and destroyed alot of her property and the owner of this storage unit refuses to take care of the cost of her items. What can she do? And are they responsible for paying for it since it was their pipes? This girl bought renters insurance and was told it doesn't cover flood damage which really is not a flood, act of God situation it was the owners pipes.

Thank you for your ansser

Repost on the Business Law BB. This is not a real estate law question since the rented property was a commercial storage rental facility.
