What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Minnesota

A couple of days ago, I was at a store where I had been once or twice before. This store is part of a large chain (over 1000) stores. There was a promotional event where rules were posted how then event was going to be run. I drove quite a distance to participate in this promotion only to find out the store manager was "creating" thier own rules. A crowd had gathered, the store manager announced how the event was going to be run, others in the crowd questioned the rules, and the store manager did not respond. I then walked up to the manager and asked why the event rules were not being followed. The store manager started yelling at me by saying it was his store to run how he wanted and that he has never had any problems at his store until I "showed up".

I have contacted the supplier of the items for this promotion (another large company), and they have indicated the rules should have been followed, as they were the official rules for this event.

In my opinion, a store manager does not have the authority to yell at people and embarrass them in front of a crowd.

I dont want to "forget about it" as it should not happen, ever. I don't know what legal action I should take, or who is interested in supporting me in this.

Any information is very much appreciated. Thank you.

Information about what? Here's some for PETA - People Eating Tasty Animals: http://www.mtd.com/tasty/

PS: It shouldn't matter how fat the "crowd" was - you're just being mean.

A: If you are asking if this is defamatory, the answer is no.

Well

I was there... it was a very large crowd... The OP got really red in the face.

It was not pretty... I think she has a case against the manager...
No one should be seen like that in a crowd.
