What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

In the past 8 years my ex wife has had little contact with our boys due to the fact that she has been in and out of jail, mental hospitals, and drug treatment programs. We have been in and out of court 3 or 4 times and once again she is taking me back after the court ordered supervised visitations by a county agency this time she is in a drug treatment program and asking for visitation there. What can I do to stop this from happening? my oldest says he don't want to see her and my youngest barley knows her it also seems every time she gets out of a program she goes back to her old ways plus she has lost another child. child protective services took him and the court placed him with his father who is on registered sex offender. there is much more to the situation and I don't have funds due to providing for my family with no help so if anyone has any advise please help.

How old are the children you have with her? And why does it matter that another of her children is placed with his father? That piece of information matters not. Children do NOT get to choose whether they see a parent however. She may get visitation. The way to prevent this from happening is to prove that it is NOT in the children's best interests to visit their mother there.

call the facility and ask what age children have to be before they are allowed to visit. Some rehab facilities say over 12, some are over 14.

you didn't say how old the children are, it may be something you don't even need to worry about!

first off my boys are 10 and 16 second I think you misunderstood I don't have a problem with supervised visitations by a licensed professional however I do have a problem with visitations at a drug rehab I know my boys need to have her in there lives and I'm not trying to stop that and like I said before there is much more to my problem she has also been diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic not only is she on meds for that but she does illegal drugs hence why she is in a rehab. The last two times we were in court she stated she was 3 month's clean this was 3 years apart. There is still a lot more to the story but maybe now you can understand a little more about my concern.

thanks again!

If Mom is in an inpatient treatment facility, it's very possible that visits will be ordered to take place there while she's there.

Her new diagnosis makes that MORE, and not LESS likely.
