Hi all. I am in NC.

I obtained my BSN degree in 2008. I made high payments for 8 years, usually paying over $1k per month regardless of minimum payment. As my life progressed, I was on an income based repayment plan due to having twins and being out of work. I am now working again, but the father of my twins has moved across the USA. I have not been able to make my student loan payments for about 4 months. Before that, I was on an income based plan of $0 followed by forbearance. I feel I have exhausted all options.

I declared bankruptcy last year due to the extreme hardship of being a single mom with no family support. I have two questions regarding my options:

1) Could my wages or tax return be garnished if I continue not to pay?
2) How would I apply to have the student loans included in my bankruptcy?

I receive approximately 3-5 calls each day regarding my past due amount. They request over a thousand to get my account current. That's obviously not possible. I offer to make a small monthly payment of $20 and they state that they cannot accept that.

What are my options? I do not make enough money for our living expenses. I have two jobs, and each month I ask their dad for help.

Thank you in advance to any response. I know I need to take ahold of our finances. Its just extremely difficult working two jobs on minimal sleep (they got up at 4:40 this morning. EEK!)
