What is the name of your state? Alabama

I was called in to the office with my friend over the topic about a poll that we posted on our site. The question was "Who is the ****tiest teacher at our school?" And it listed 4 teachers, from a list of teachers we pulled from fellow students. We were called to the office today during school over the matter, and left being confused about how the school had the right to do anything against us, being that our website is not related to school, and that the matter at hand was not related to school, except for the fact that they were teachers. I was just wondering if the school has the right to do this, and if the teachers listed could press charges of any kind.

Thanks!

An answer to your question would require a thorough review of the website and its contents.
And an appropriate review of the school disciplinary provisions/regulations.

They should be honored to be named the wittiest teachers at your school.
