Why do you BELIEVE you are an expert witness? You are not. You are a witness based on your observations and duties in regards to income. But that does NOT make you an expert. If you are a subpoenaed it can carry across state lines. You can be ordered to court on a motion to show cause if YOU DO NOT show up when ordered by a subpoena. You will be paid mileage but that does NOT mean you will be paid anything else.

Aren’t there unjust enrichment laws?
Why should I be forced to give up my time to prepare documents to help a party in a "civil" lawsuit without compensation? They are looking for child support (cash money)along with custody. They will benefit at my expense. I must pay my staff wages for their time. Then they want my opinion on what the Corporation was worth and how much income he potentially lost by quitting, isn't that an "expert" opinion?
I am sure the attorney and judge are receiving payment for their time.
In addition, Ohio already owes us a great amount of money for work we did for him.
I am enrolled to practice before the IRS,
with a recent MBA from the University of Michigan

How does a subpoena carry across state lines? How would an Ohio court have any personal jurisdiction over this Michigan resident? I bet the plaintiff can get a Michigan court to issue the subpoena to the OP, but don't they need to do that before it would count as a valid court order which can compel the OP?

While I don't know anything about the underlying claims or the why's and wherefore's, this seems like a fishing trip which could better be handled in other ways.
