Hello.

Is the GPS data from a smart phone but stored on the cloud considered to be protected or exempt from a subpoena or is it considered to be fair game?

I am trying to track down assets down ( House, Condo, Warehouse, car,etc..) for a debt collection but person is extremely slippery and has structured their life to be judgement proof on purpose.

My only question is if a Subpoena to a cell phone provider can reveal his GPS data in order to track these assets down or if that is considered to be protected or exempt?

Thank you.

All data is subject to subpoena.

I recommend you seek out a professional in your area for assistance in collecting on your judgment.
