What is the name of your state? NY is where they are incorporated
I placed an order on Nov 8 over the phone and was told to expect delivery in 10-15 business days. After that time elapsed, I received an email saying that the product was backordered and that it would be another few weeks. This proceeded to happen multiple times. I was then told over the phone that the product was being shipped and with the delivery truck. The next week i received an email that the order was backordered until mid March. Today they cancelled the order without even contacting me. They had charged my credit card on Nov. 8th.
Can i sue them? Can i recoop interest, penalty, money spent on temporary furnishings from Target, minutes for cell phone, etc.? How should I proceed?
I have already filed a complaint with the NY Attorney General.
