I am not sure where to post this since I don't see any obvious category it belongs in.

I invested and started a small business with a friend in another country. Police without justification came in and closed it down for a week. It is now open- is there anything I can do from here to sue?

When is there juristiction to sue?

If the company is based in, and has always been in, that foreign country... no.

And even more important than jurisdiction.... do you have about $30,000 plus to 'invest' in a foreign lawsuit.
