The Chief of Police who was in charge of the investigation into my kidnapping and aggravated assault, lost the evidence. Hence, the criminal charges against the man who commited those crimes were dismissed without prejudice. The Chief will not return my calls and has yet to find the evidence. Isn't this gross negligence on his part, and do I have a good enough reason to file a lawsuit against the officer?
