What is the name of your state? Colorado

Sorry Indiana...I guess I closed my thread as you were replying

Would this be a good idea?
I just wondered if this would be a good thing for the OP to do: Should she NOT open the certified letters when/if they get returned to her so that she can prove what was sent (and not picked up) by the father if she ever has to go to court over this issue?
I haven't opened the returned letter, I don't feel that I need to (I know what I wrote, plus I have a copy that kept for myself). I guess I will just put it into my files for possible future purposes.

Elf is right. Absolutely, positively = it is best to NOT open the letter. Leave it as is, with all documentation. File it.

That was a good question, Indiana.

I just know that there are some people who would open the letter, even though they wrote it. I'm glad Elf knew not to open it.
