What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Texas

I has told by a lawyer (free call) that I need to write a general letter of denial to give to the court to stop the automatic action of the court. Where can I find a example of this letter?
What do I put in this letter, what excuse do I use in the letter for not paying?

I owe approx $2800.00 to Providian.

You either have paid or you have not paid.

There are no excuses.

Did that lawyer tell you that a general letter of denial would stop the court proceedings? If so, he was wrong.

What it will do is cause the necessity for a trial.

If you want to have a trial, tell the court (in writing).

But when you get to your trial, what will you say?

Denial Letter Format

I want to offer a settlement amount but I am running out of time. Where can I find a general denial letter format to reply to the court. Also I do not want to admit any changes.

What kind of 'automatic action' are you trying to stop??

What do I put in this letter, what excuse do I use in the letter for not paying?
Of course, there is no way that any of us can tell you what to put in a letter. However, if you are looking for some excuse to not pay a valid debt, there isn't any. Either you owe the debt.... or not. If not, then simply deny the claim and present your 'reason' in court at the hearing.

I owe approx $2800.00 to Providian.
Your admission that you owe this amount.... pretty much kills any chance to 'excuse' your not paying.
