I just got a summons today from a lawyer (****** & Seibert) that I am being sued for a credit card debt. I have made payments to this company until 3 months ago when I told them the amount of the payment was to high for me to afford. They have never returned my call. The total settlement amount is about 1,800.00 before my payments of 660.00. I guess my question is can I make an offer to pay them or should I just let this go to court and take my chances?
