Hi
I would like to know if there is anything at all I can do to protect my children. Our divorce was final 1 year June of this year. He remarried 1 month after our divorce being final and as of May busted up with her and now is going through a divorce with current wife. He has drug problems and he has unsupervised visitation but It states that If I think he is under the influence, I can revoke his visitation for that weekend without being held in contempt. His new girlfriend, is on drugs, has had a few cases brought against her for abuse to her children that she no longer has custody of, she tried to kill her self just a few weeks ago. He was fired from his job back in July for cocaine (failing a drug test). He told me this; even asked me to urinate for him in a container. What can I do? I don't mind him seeing the children, but I do mind where he takes them and who they around. My daughter is 3, he took her to the hospital, and my daughter is telling me just last night about her and daddy going to see XXX at the hospital and we said wake up XXX and she didn't wake up. Then she tells me that the doctors came in the room and sat her up in the bed and she still did not wake up. Why would a father put there child through this? Can I do anything about this? If I were to pursue gonig back to court, could I have medical records subpeno to court where he took this drug test?
Any advice appreciated!
