This is irrelevant. As the CP, you will be expected to provide clothing/diapers/formula/etc and a child can sleep in the bed with the parent or on a pallet on the floor. A bedroom/crib is not considered necessary.
Why?
He's currently living with his father and younger sister. The last I heard from his father involved him yelling and throwing a fit over having a child in the house. That it's entirely my responsibility, no one else's, to take care of him. And all I did was take him over there to visit. And even though he's the one threatening me over living together, he expects me to find the apartment for all three of us.

I understand that. And if you REALLY think he's a danger to the child, pony up the money and ask that a GAL be appointed. They're appointed in ALL cases in MO where abuse/neglect is alleged. They're expensive, but if there is any reason to fear for your child's safety, a GAL will discover it and present their findings/recommendations to the court.
This might be a stupid question, but what is a GAL? No offense to you or anyone on this forum, but if I could afford something that expense, I'd have talked to a good attorney by now instead of relying on internet assistance. But if that's what I have to do, I guess I can find a way to pay it. Where there's a will, there's a way, right? As of right now, I make roughly $900/month and receive $123 in CS so anything too expensive would take a while.

I dunno. My son is 21 months and weighs 35lbs. I bump his head frequently when putting him in/taking him out of cars. If he's not actually INJURED but only UPSET he's not being abused.
My son is 9 months and 24 lbs. I can understand the occasional bump, but it's the fact that it somehow manages to happen everytime he's around him. With the number of times he's seen him and the actual amount of time, I could understand one or two little mishaps, but too many just seems careless to me, no matter how irrelevant it might be. If I could get him for abuse for everytime he'd upset him he'd be behind bars. It seems every one of our meetings ends in my normally cheerful and social child screaming his head off.

Also... what county are you in?
