My husb has temp custody of his son and the court date is approaching. The ex-wife is threatening to take the son out of state. If custody is awardd to my husband, is this grounds for supervised visitation? If so, who pays the expenses and approx how much for every other weekend. If you have any additional info on this it would be appreciated. I am not familiar with how this works. Thanks.

If the father has physical custody then she can threaten all she wants. When she leaves she will be responsible for all travel costs. Now, if she wins custody then the father will need to petition the courts to stop her move or make her pay for his travel costs.

Supervised visitation is only needed if the child is in danger. If the father wins custody but the mother runs to another state, then you file petition in court to have her ass whipped and the return of the child... THEN, you can petition for supervised visitation.
