UPDATE: Support Order and Medical Expenses

What is the name of your state? AK

If the final order requires my ex to pay 25% of non-covere medical expenses, would this not include his paying 25% of a pair of glasses since the children need them to see? Please clarify if you can.

Also, am I not required to notify him of the costs as well as send copies of the bills?

A little confused

Wanted to give a quick update. I spoke with our family law center and according to the civil rule governing support in AK, vision is considered a medical expense so he is required to pay for 25% of uncovered expenses. Also, since in his emails he adamantly refused to pay, I was advised to file a motion for reduction to a judgement with the email included as supporting document because of some of the things he stated...

He must have forwarded things to his attorney because this afternoon, I had an email stating I would be receiving a check within 30 days...not holding my breath though...:p

thank you to all who read my initial post...
