What is the name of your state? wi
We filed a chapter 7 and it was discharged 1/06. On the Debtors statement of intentions we reaffirmed our car and were surrendering my wedding rings that we still owed on a jewelery store credit card. I took the ring to the creditors meeting but no one showed up from that account. My lawyer told me to take the ring home and that when the company called her to set up collection of the ring she would let me know. It is now june and I haven't heard anything, does that mean I get to keep the ring? Are there any time limits for them to collect the ring? Thanks for any info you can give me.

Maybe, maybe not. They may not ever bother, depends on the actual value of the rings and how aggressive they want to be.

No.
