What is the name of your state?
Georgia
My 2 oldest children get benefits from their dad passing away.
We are currently in the middle of a reunification plan and housing is a huge issue I have a small house and have been here for over a year with good references. They want me to move into a larger house and show stability. However income wise it's not affordable. The SSDI would help me achieve that and maintain in a larger home. But they say no they checks stay with the kids. It's like their setting me up to fail. What should I do??

As the check must stay with the children, your only option is to get either a better paying job or perhaps a part time job so you can afford a larger home.
