What is the name of your state? Michigan
I have had two dui's and havent had a license since 1999. I am 25. I have been in rehab and have gone to AA for years. I got off probation about six months ago and reapplied to the state for a license. I have paid all my fines. I sent in all the appropriate paperwork through my lawyer . I was still denied and can not apply again for another year. I am going to lose my job because I can not drive. If I go to Ohio or Florida can i obtain a license there even though Michigan wont give me one?

Why can't you apply for a business or work only restricted "hardship" license? This is done through your DMV, and like it sounds, it's ONLY for going to work and home again. You don't get to have your regular license and drive around at will, but you do not lose your job either.
