I had a ticket for a court appearance related to an auto accident. I had totally forgotten about this appearance due to an issue from medication (going through a med mal case now from being given a toxic dose of the medication resulting in memory problems even forgetting blocks of time). I have had traffic tickets I've paid before, but forgot completely this time. The police officer pulled me over for running a stop which I know I did not, but that is another story. Long story short, I was taken in.

As long as I take care of the fees before I appear in court, and get my license back after taking care of said fees, what do I have to look at with the court when I appear before the judge? Should I discuss this with an attorney?

Further, I did have to get a bondsman. Is the bond returned to me ($338 not including the fee) as long as I make all court appearances? Trust me, I have things in place to keep me in check!!

Thank you!!
