O.k. I have a suspended licence and live in so. california. After my licence was suspended I received 7 more tickets for driving with a suspended licence. Now the reason I haven't taken care of these is because I was told that there is a mandatory five day jail time for each violation. is this true and if so is there a way to plea bargain or reduce the sentence or something? I am a single mom and can't afford to be in jail. Please help.

No, that's not true.
It's worse because the penalty is based on a Traffic Court gross multiplier of the 7 later offenses. Based on the three stikes you're out law, you would have been done for twice removed with 1 remaining added to your future charges of driving with no license.
If you apply the concept of "you can't afford to be in jail" scenario, please consider the you can't afford to be driving without a license scenario.
