What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA

In order to interview at a company I need to sign a nondisclosure agreement. It has some text at the end that looks suspicious. Can someone tell me what is the legal significance of the in the context of NDAs?

YOU HEREBY WAIVE TRIAL BY JURY IN CONNECTION WITH ANY ACTION OR SUIT ARISING UNDER THIS AGREEMENT OR OTHERWISE ARISING FROM THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN YOU AND S**Y.

Are you an attorney ? Did you not notice the language in the NDA sentence is American English?
By gosh, you're RIGHT. How idiotic of me to not assume your geographic locale based on the general syntax of a brief snippet of a much larger document.

Go pay an attorney.

ummmm....you do realize that lots of companies that operate in other countries are AMERICAN companies and would use English on their documents??

The US is not the only country where English is spoken...
