swallowed can top

I swallowed the punch-out top to a can.the next day my I started having pain in my bowel . the back of the top came off instead of the front and fell into the can . after forgetting it was there I swallowed it .I went to the doctor where they took four x-rays and found nothing . then they sent me to a specialist.He pressed on my stomach four times and said theres nothing I can do. I passed the top the next day . do i have a case?

Without even discussing whether or not there is liability, the first question I have is did you suffer any kind of injury? If so, be specific when describing. It sounds like the piece passed with no resulting injury. Please clarify.
