I am trying to purchase a home and the mortgage broker who I was using has taken several months to try and close the loan.. I have good credit and there are no issues with the home. I already paid for the appraisal. the broker refuses to call me back and I keep gettinglied to about when we are closing. I've been told that I'm going into closing 3 times in the last 2 months but nothing happens. He is now refusing to take my calls and then I found out that his office has been closed and may be under investigation for fraudulant loans. I am talking to another broker already but need to know what kind of disclosures I need to sign to transferring the new broker rights to my appraisal and also make sure that he has the right to do my loan without the previous broker coming after him. Thanks!
