t-bone by suspended licence driver

What is the name of your state? south carolina

i was t-boned by a 75 year old driver he was cited by the highway patrol for
1. failure to yeild right of way
2. driving with expired tags
3. driving with suspended licence
he totaled my truck and he did have insurance
i contacted a personal injury lawyer becasue i hurt my back and neck the chiropractor said i ws scrambled by the wreck can some one give me a idea of damages i am entitled they paid off my vehicle the insurance company did (his) but now i am vehicless and out of work for two weeks is it worth it using a personal injury lawyer just concerned and curious
