I live in Oregon and I'm in the beginning stages of creating a charity baking event. The event is inspired by The Great British Bake Off and we would love to be able to call it The Great Portland Bake Off but I'm worried that it's not different enough. We are considering 'Baking Challenge' instead but it sounds clunky. If it matters, all proceeds will benefit the ACLU and no one will be profiting from this event. Thank you for any advice!

You would be smart to go with "Baking Challenge."

Non-profit events still must avoid infringing on trademark rights. The Great British Bake Off is rights-protected.
