What is the name of your state? Texas,
To make this easier I am going to use (fake) names.

Cindy and June had a falling out. Cindy told June never to contact her family again. Two weeks later June calls Cindy's husband and states that Cindy told her to call him for help because her car was broke down and she needed to get some things done. Apparently hubby has no idea of arguement. He cannot get Cindy by phone. She is in hospital ICU with her mother. So he helps June. He drives her to locations to run errands, takes her home and is asked to repair some things in June's home ( She is widowed). Which he does. When Cindy gets home she is confronted by irate husband stating never to volunteer him again without discussing it first. Cindy (dumbfounded)
has no idea what he is talking about. After much arguing and discussing they realize he was duped. Question... Can he bill her for services rendered? ie
mileage , gas, labor? If so can he take her to small claims court for unpaid bill
if it is not paid within reasonable amount of time? What would be the time limit and what about the knowledgeable interference in their home life by her
devious lie? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Really?

I was not trying to play games. This is a true problem , for a very timid person I am acquainted with. Do you truly get giggles from treating others with such disdain? I thought this site was here to help people with questions.
Had I known it was here for your spiteful replys I would not have wasted MY time.

Are you really THIS dense? This is a marital issue. IT IS NOT a legal or even Civil issue.

But you have done one thing positive.

CONGRATSULATIONS! Your post is the VERY FIRST entry into the 'Most Stupid Posts of 2005' Be sure to check back to see if you've won :D

Glad to help!!

Have you ever heard " No question is a stupid question?" Well I am so glad that by trying to answer a friends question, I have opened myself to your
ridicule. Hope that by trying to make me feel stupid you have enriched yourself in some manner. Hope you have a great holiday and have something
to be grateful for. My condolences to your family members...

Of course he can bill her.

If so can he take her to small claims court for unpaid bill if it is not paid within reasonable amount of time?
Of course he can take her to court. After all, anyone can sue anyone over almost anything.

What would be the time limit
The 'time limit' is one year from the date.

and what about the knowledgeable interference in their home life by her devious lie?
What about it???

And now for a dose of 'reality'.
He can bill her, however, she has NO obligation to pay.
He can sue her, but he has NO chance of winning.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
And of course, that is NOT true, as shown by your attitude when Breezy gave his accurate 'advice'.
You really should have said, "Any advice that agrees with me will be greatly appreciated". :D

How refreshing..

Thank you for your opinion, I agree whole heartedly with you as to your last statement. I guess I wasn't thinking that my question would turn into a contest of wits. I simply tried to give all the accurate info and did not expect in the least that my question would subject me to ridicule for asking. I thought that was why this site is here. As I have seen after reading further
into others questions , I realize I am not alone in reaping this BB person's wrath. Once again Thank you.

Is it to late for this to make it to IAAL's list? I'm sorry, but this is funny.
