Tavist D lawsuit...

I've read that recently a lawsuit was won against Tavist D because it was known to cause strokes in some repeated users. My mother-in-law has been using this product for about five years. Two weeks ago, she had a stroke. We were just wondering if we had any legal options. Or any way to test if Tavist D was in fact the reason her stroke happened. Please e-mail me back as soon as you can. Any information would be welcome.

I don't believe that there has been any ruling in a lawsuit regarding Tavist-D. The issue is really the PPA (phenylpropanolamine) that is in a lot of over-the-counter medications. Lawyers are still trying to 'drum up' clients.
