The landlord of the commerical property that I currenrly lease forgot to tell me about school district tax at the time of signing the lease. The lease says that I am responsible for all taxes on the property. Is this misrepresentation or was the burden on me to investigate all taxes before signing?

My response:

Yes, the reference was in the lease giving you Notice, and it would have been up to you to inquire. There are so many taxes on properties, and they change so often, that to have addressed each and every one, and to inform whether any that are listed are still applicable, is more than what the laws require for disclosure.
