What is the name of your state? Idaho
Is tax liability on an extension form, the amount of money a person makes through the year? I assume the payments made throughout the year are the federal and state withholding, is that correct? I was ask these questions, but I don't pay any tax as I am disabled. So I am asking someone that might have the answers. Thanks.

No, tax liability is your "total tax" from your tax return.

Try to see a professional about your extension. They usually only cost about $5 and my concern is that you may not even need one, but you don't know enough to figure it out on your own.

Thank you Snipes5. But as I said in my post this was a question asked me. As I stated in my post I don't pay any State or Federal tax out of my disibility I just figured one of you tax know it alls would be able to answer a couple of questions. I don't plan on fileing an extension, but felt it might be useful information in case I was ask again. But you are right I will ask my CPA the next time I talk to him.
