What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? ny

hi again:

one more question - 2 parts
1) i read it is possible to have a satisfied tax lien removed from your credit report (something about new changes in 2011 - is this true and how does one go about it)
2) as stated previously i have always filed single even though i am married - if i change and file "married filing separately" - with a satisfied NY state tax lien, will this affect my husbands credit (I think i recall reading tax and credit are separate), or his taxes.
i think the answer is obvious but i want to be sure??

tx

Once again, you filing married filing separately will have no impact at all on your husband's credit, nor will your debts. The only impact on your husband's taxes is that he will have to file married filing separately as well.
