What is the name of your state?NY my house is going to be foreclosed on by county for non payment of real estate taxes can i transfer the title to my daughter if she has a better chance to get a loan to pay the taxes can you tranfer a title when taxes are owed? Any advice would be appreciated. Please no bashing extenuating circummstances has brought it to this I spent my life savings on this house and do not want to lose it. My sister thought there must be a program or something that might be able to help I don't want to go bankrupt.

You can transfer title to your daughter if that is what you wish to do, you still own the property just haven't paid the taxes. The county will sell your taxes on tax sales probably, and usually is a redemption period to repay the taxes to who ever buys them. You will have to pay the taxes and interest involved. Just remember if you transfer title, if your name is still on the mortgage you are responsible for payments. There are many options out there. Just have to do some research.
