What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Arizona

My daughter filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in 2008. She was required to submit her 2008 tax returns and all refund checks to the bankruptcy trustee, which has been done.

When her 2008 taxes were filed in April, she OWED money, so that has been paid. So, she did not have any refunds to send to the bankruptcy trustee & a note was included explaining that.

However, with Obama's stimulus plan, she recently got a letter stating that she would be getting a tax REBATE of $600.00.

Is that to be sent to the bankruptcy trustee? She doesn't want to do anything wrong, but is unsure of how this should be addressed. FYI, she has not received the rebate check yet, just the letter of notification.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
