What is the name of your state? California

My divorce was just made final mid April. For whatever reason I decided to file my 2005 tax return with my ex. We filed married filing jointly. He pays state taxes to Oregon and I to CA. I just got the tax return from Oregon direct deposited to my account. Do I have to give him any if not all that money to him?

On a purely moral basis you absolutely should give ALL of that money to him, it was a refund based strictly on his earnings. However, legally a great deal depends on what your divorce agreements/orders say.
