In Florida are you required to charge taxes on late charges?

What kind of tax?

Its not a sale, so its not a sales tax.

If your landlord is telling you that, while the lease specifies a latepayment fee, but he has to charge tax on top of that, well, you have to check FL law. But I wouldn't be in a hurry to pay it while you are checking Fl law.
