taxes on sales

I live in Georgia and was wondering if I created a website to sell items I buy from auctions what tax laws would apply to me? Also would I have to claim the proceeds as income when I file my taxes?

You owe sales tax on sales made in Georgia. You owe income tax on your profits (i.e., what you sell things for, less what you paid for them and other expenses).
