What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Indiana
My son has a behavorial IEP. He has a new teacher this year and already had 2 problems. First he states he has lied about talking in class and the second is he said what out loud during a quiz. My son received a zero which I have no problem with that at all. My problem is the teacher yelled and kept the situation going (be-little) with him. I tried to email and work the problem out and it has not. I have called to have his class changed but I was informed only the teachers side. I understand that the principal is going to take his side. We now have a meeting because they "just don't change students schedules". Here is where the teacher/student confidentiality comes in. The teacher was talking to a different teacher who has no involvment with my son or even knows my son about this. The door was open and there were janitors also in there. Students heard this from the hallway and 1 student who personally knows my son heard this. So now this is out for the public, which it should not be. What can I do?
