Hello,

I have a few questions. If a student in a public school, that is 16 years old, for whatever reason decides to leave the classroom and the teachers doesn't allow the student to leave the room by blocking the door could charges be pressed against the teacher? Also, if the teacher doesn't block the door, but instead threatens the student, for example threating to place punishments and dentions or lowering of grades, could charges be pressed?

Thanks!

So, obvious you are not the teacher since in your second sentence leaves it open to question whether you are speaking of a 16 year-old student or the school is 16 years old.

as for your charges question, there is no way to answer your question since you have provided no facts to determine if anything legally compensible .

Now, who gave you the homework assignment?

Actually it's for a school assignment that I need this information for. Basically I need to know, if the teacher blocks the exit of the classroom can charges be pressed?

Here is a scenario:
A teacher claims the student was cheating (or something along those lines) and the next day during class the student (of 16 years) is handed a referral. If the student decides to leave the classroom for whatever reason (going to guidance ECT) and the teacher stands in the way of the student and doesn't allow him to leave, can charges be pressed ECT?

Thanks for any help!

Do you mean.... etc.? As in et cetera? If so - and you were said student? You shouldl be locked in the classroom until you can type it right.

My response:

Now, what was that again about an infinite number of monkeys in a room with an infinite number of typewriters . . .?
