What is the name of your state? MI

I got in trouble for marijuana. It was given to me before school by another student (let's call him "Jim") to give to another student (let's call him "Steve"). So I agreed and gave steve his things. Steve got caught with it, and told the principle that I gave it to him. I did, no problems there. The principle searched me, found nothing, I didn't deny it or anything. By the end of the day, rumors were flying around like crazy. The teacher that turned Steve in told my class that "mr.'steve' and ms.white will not be joining us for the rest of the week". The next day I had people coming up to me asking me what happened, telling me that the teacher had told them, but didn't give the details. Then about a week later, another teacher pulled a student out of class to ask him if he had heard what had happened to me and proceeded to tell him what happened. I had the principle say in a meeting with fellow students that, "posession of marijuana is a serious offense". I was the president of my class, and they had kicked me out of council for my suspension, did he have the right to tell the other members of council that my suspension was for drug posession? Did those other two teachers violate any law by telling other students what happened? please help.

Oh, and maybe you can help me here as well. I have weekly drug tests because of my actions. Since they are weekly and I am female, there is the potential of me being on my period when i have a test. I am always watched. Is there any way that I could have the person not watch me or turn around?f your state?

I think with as much as stake as you had, I would have made a little more fight about the suspension and charges and question whether they could "kick you out of council" for the charges. You may want to post this on the are for civil rights and discrimination. However, I do feel that your privacy was violated. Assuming, of course, that there was no arrest and no public record of your arrest, such as a court record. Again, put this on civil rights and discrimination.

Laws on Marijuana in Michigan This may help you out in some way

Did the teacher for sure tell another student about your drug possesion? And Did the Principal actually say to the other Members of the council (council being fellow students): "Ms. White's suspension was for drug posession?"

Because if they did (I love it when people in authority do something wrong):

There is something called Student Privacy Protection

> Confidentiality: Refers to an obligation not to disclose or transmit information to unauthorized parties.

> Privacy: Reflects an Individual's freedom from intrusion

> Find out much more about Student Privacy at this link

I really hope this helps you out.

As far as you having to Urinate in front of someone (I know it sucks). Did you actually get Charged with possesion (a misdemeanor in Michigan)? If so then there is really nothing you can do about that (it's a probation), However if you did not get charged legally then I don't believe the school has any right to do this.

Michigan has Conditional release (for Marijauna possesion), meaning: The state allows conditional release or alternative or diversion sentencing for people facing their first prosecutions. Usually, conditional release lets a person opt for probation rather than trial. After successfully completing probation, the individual's criminal record does not reflect the charge.

Again you can find info on Marijuana at this site.

;) Just a little side note: If you have alot to loose, Have the other person do his own Drug dealing...
