What is the name of your state? Az
Neither Mother nor Father lives within 200 miles of the courthouse where the case is assigned. Father lives in Illinois and there are roughly 6 courtdates in the next 3 months alone. Is there a way that he can do a written request to attend these dates telephonically? If he has to travel to Arizona for every one of these dates he will lose his job.

Checked with the courts as in see if they allow this or do you mean ask the judge? They both attend court telephonically for child support but this is a different judge. She has not attended court since she moed almost 2 years ago, she always has her lawyer call in for her on the day of court. This judge that he is seeing now is a different judge though. Do you think it would be best to attend the first one telephonically and if the judge says no more then fly out there? This is a brand new job (he starts tuesday) and he can't even miss one day for the first 3 months or he is fired so it is impossible to attend the first one in person.
