new york state: how can I own the rights to a television show concept which would use some footage owned by others; but presented in a different type of forum.
Would describing my idea on paper, in detail, give me copywrite protection? Or would some other IP law be more suitable.
I wish to "shop this Idea around" and be assured of my ownership of this concept.
